This ancient system of calculations translated by Shri Bharati Krishna Tirathji. He was very fond of learning and especially Sanskrit. He was an exceptionally brilliant student from his school days. His earlier name was Venkataraman before the commencement of the Sannyasa order. When he was initiated into the holy order of Sannyasa and then he had given the name of Shri Bharati Krishna Tirathji. During eight years of his mediations ( 1911 – 1918), he had acknowledgment of 16 Sutras from the Parisista (Appendix) of Athar Veda. Thus, he observed that any mathematical problems can be solved with the use of these 16 Sutras.
